Dark Man X

April 9, 2021 will forever be a dark day in the Hip Hop world; an icon has been called home.

Earl Simmons aka DMX was one of the biggest rap artist in the game; a genuine man with passion for others will forever live in our hearts. A God fearing who was not afraid to pray in front of thousands in arenas and not too proud to sit and eat with the homeless. Of course we all know he had his demons to fight; but who are we to judge even though some did and it’s not anyone place to kick down a man, remind ourselves we are all human with flaws and we can all learn from DMX.

The day of hearing his passing; I cried because he will be truly missed and the same time I was at peace because he will no longer suffer, so I decided to write a pen letter to Mr. Simmons as a fan to thank him for his time on earth:

DMX; I want to say thank you for being you; you was the very spiritual being that never sugar coat anything just by hearing or reading your interviews and  as fan that meant something. Anyone who can admit their wrongs and share their struggles life stories even the good ones I admired. You was that one. May the most high bless your soul and be greeted with open arms through heaven’s gate.

You’ll be missed Dark man X. Rest well🕊
